Island County Board of Health – Meeting – CANCELED

UPDATED: This meeting has been canceled due to the attendance of all of the Island County Commissioners at the annual Washington Association of Counties conference.

The Island County Board of Health, established for the purpose of supervising all matters pertaining to the preservation of life and health of the people of Island County, consists of five members including: the three members of the Board of Island County Commissioners; the mayor of the City of Oak Harbor and one Whidbey General Hospital District Commissioner. The Commanding Officer of the Oak Harbor Naval Hospital serves as an ex-officio member. The terms of all members are set out to run concurrent with the terms of office of the position to which they are elected, or term of command. Regular meetings are held the third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room, or as may be determined by the Board of Health.
