CAMANO: Free PulsePoint app tells you about emergency calls

The Camano Island Fire and Rescue District posted this to its Facebook page on June 3, 2025.
When an ambulance speeds by you with lights and sirens on, it’s totally normal to be curious about where it’s going and what happened.
Camano Fire responds to 2400-plus calls every year, which works out to 6 or 7 calls a day. Most of those are medical calls – more than 68% on average.
Did you know? The free PulsePoint app will tell you what calls ICOM 911 has dispatched AND direct you to the nearest AED if someone is having a cardiac emergency.
Seconds matter in an emergency with CPR. You could be the difference.
