I am excited to share my bill to expand access to Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit opportunities for our high school students has been signed into law! In 2023, over 56,000 students enrolled in CTE Dual Credit courses, yet only 3% successfully applied those credits toward a postsecondary credential. HB 1273 aims to fill this gap by extending a successful pilot program, streamlining the credit transfer system, and requiring state agencies to improve dual credit transparency and alignment with workforce needs.
