The Stanwood-Camano School District posted this to its Facebook page on 2026-01-20 18:04:01.
Anyone and everyone is encouraged to donate blood as we respond to a critical regional blood shortage. To help, we’ve organized a community blood drive.
🔴 When: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30
🔴 Where: North Gym, Stanwood High School
🔴 How: Contact SHS Sports Medicine teacher Matt Brennan directly to reserve a time slot at mbrennan@stanwood.wednet.edu
Bloodworks Northwest has declared a “Code Red” emergency, with local hospitals reporting less than a one- to two-day supply of some critical blood types. Type O and platelet donations are especially needed right now.

Every donation helps save lives. Thank you for stepping up.
