Applications are now open for next school year’s Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program in the Stanwood-Camano School District.

TK is a free, full-day early learning option designed to help young learners build the skills and confidence they need for a successful start to kindergarten — especially for children who have not previously attended preschool.

Stanwood-Camano has offered TK since the 2022-23 school year, with programs currently hosted at Cedarhome Elementary, Twin City Elementary, and Utsalady Elementary. Eligible students may apply regardless of where they live within the district.

The TK program is available to children who will be 4 years old by September 1 at the start of the school year.
