DAVE PAUL: As Chair of the House Postsecondary Education & Workforce Committee, I’ve spent a lot of time over the summer and fall meeting with educators, small business owners, and labor leaders to discuss ways we can improve workforce training across our state.

COUPEVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT: The District is seeking applications from District residents interested in being appointed to committees to write the “for” and “against” statements for the Voters’ Pamphlet for the District’s ballot measures to be considered at the February 10, 2026 election.
GOP OF ISLAND COUNTY: We are sponsoring a bi-partisan, non-political forum designed to provide up-to-date information to residents on the current status of the ferry system, wait times, service capabilities, as well as deliveries of the new boats currently under construction.
STANWOOD-CAMANO SCHOOL DISTRICT: If we don’t get more applications by Friday, three of our elementary schools will lose free meals for all students next year.
