ISLAND COUNTY: The 2026 Island County 2% Hotel-Motel Tax Tourism Promotions application packet will be available beginning July 1, 2025. This program aims to support and promote the tourism economy and regenerative tourism in Island County.
ISLAND COUNTY: From 2-4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 10, Island County Department of Emergency Management is holding a virtual Wildfire Preparedness and Response Workshop. This event, which is free and open to all, will bring together local and regional experts.

CAMANO ISLAND FIRE & RESCUE DISTRICT: Camano Island Fire & Rescue will ask voters to consider renewing its emergency medical services (EMS) levy during the Aug. 5 primary election. To help residents learn more, the district will host two public Q&A sessions in July.
