Before and after school care available at our schools

We are proud of our continued partnership with the Stanwood-Camano YMCA, which provides valuable programs that support students and families in our community.

For the 2025-26 school year, the YMCA offers safe, fun, and engaging before- and after-school care right at four of our elementary schools — Cedarhome, Stanwood, Twin City, and Utsalady (which also serves Elger Bay). Kids enjoy homework help, enrichment activities, active play, and time with friends in a supportive environment.

In addition, the YMCA supports families with youth and teen programs, licensed care in Stanwood and on Camano Island, and opportunities for financial assistance to help make programs accessible for all.
