Big congrats to the Stanwood High School chapter of the Technology Student Association (TSA) — a national leadership organization that gives students hands-on experience in STEM, engineering, and design through Career & Technical Education (CTE).
Over spring break, eight Spartans traveled to Spokane for the Washington TSA State Conference, bringing home some serious hardware:
• Poppy Hanson — 1st in Transportation Modeling
• Thomas Mendez — 1st in Music Production
• Poppy Hanson & Megan Stulc — 1st in Manufacturing Prototype
• Colin Manzuk, Thomas Mendez & Soren Anderson — 2nd in Board Game Design
• Natalie Linville — 5th in Transportation Modeling
• Colin Manzuk — 8th in CAD 3D, Engineering
• Megan Stulc — 8th in Transportation Modeling
These results reflect not just student talent but the strength of our CTE programs at SHS — where students turn ideas into real-world skills, preparing students for high-demand careers.
