CAMANO: School Board hears financial report and communications update

The Stanwood-Camano School Board heard a monthly financial report and a communications update during the regular board meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025.

The board also approved donations of $500 from the Camano Yacht Club in support of the Stanwood High School Choir and $2,504.94 in school rebates from Firefly Images for Utsalady Elementary School ($608.82), Cedarhome Elementary School ($635.76), Twin City Elementary School ($687.96), and Stanwood Elementary School ($572.40). 

Ruth Floyd, Executive Director of Business Services, presented the December Financial Report, and Director of Communications Evan Caldwell gave the board a Communications Update.

Twelve items were then unanimously approved on the board’s consent agenda.

Three citizens spoke during the public comment period.
