SOUTH WHIDBEY RECORD: The Port of South Whidbey will raise Whidbey Island Fairgrounds commercial rents 10% on Jan. 1 to move below‑market rates toward parity; the fair association’s lease is still pending.
WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: Coupeville seated new council members Kristo Allred and Evan Henrich, honored outgoing member Pat Powell’s legacy on housing and climate, and appointed Jenny Bright Mayor Pro Tem with new planning commissioners.
WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: Ex-school board candidate David Mahaffy is challenging Coupeville levy ballot language as biased for calling the levies “necessary,” while the school district supports the levies but does not oppose changing that word.
