Chief Allen, Cpt. Mezzone and Mechanic Sears are at the Pierce Manufacturing facility in Appleton, WI, completing pre-build paperwork and finalizing construction details for the new engine. Their goal: Make sure the engine meets our needs today and well into the future.
Camano Fire began the purchase process in 2023. The actual build time is roughly 6 to 8 months – and we hope to have the new engine in service this summer.
