STANWOOD-CAMANO SCHOOL DISTRICT: Our district has a Safety & Infrastructure Levy on the February 10 ballot.
OAK HARBOR SCHOOL DISTRICT: The Oak Harbor Public Schools Board of Directors received the prestigious 2025 Board of the Year award in the medium-district category from the Washington State School Directors’ Association (WSSDA), recognizing the district’s sustained, student-focused governance and the successful adoption of a comprehensive strategic plan.
STANWOOD CAMANO NEWS: The district ended 2024-25 with small revenue growth but a tighter fund balance as higher costs and the loss of federal COVID relief offset increased state funding. Other funds remained mostly stable, and the board honored outgoing president Al Schreiber while welcoming newly elected member John Russell.
