WHIDBEY NEWS-TIMES: On Feb. 10, Coupeville residents vote on renewing two school levies that fund programs and facilities, facing criticism over rising costs but strong support from district leaders and advocates.
COUPEVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT: This levy provides funding for programs and positions not funded, or underfunded, by the state.
COUPEVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT: In Coupeville, local funding makes up about 16% of the district’s budget.
