Chloé Abbott will join our team July 1 as an Assistant Principal at Stanwood High School.

She comes to us from Kentwood High School, where she currently serves as Dean of Students. She has also worked as a substitute Assistant Principal for summer programs at Neely-O’Brien Elementary and previously taught mathematics at Meridian Middle School, where she also served for five years as the Math Department Curricular Leader.

A passionate and equity-driven educator, Chloé has built her career in diverse schools and has been deeply involved in leadership roles, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and inclusive education practices. Her leadership has included coaching teachers on tier-one strategies, coordinating academic interventions, and partnering with families and community-based organizations to remove barriers and promote student success.

Chloé holds a Bachelor’s in Secondary Mathematics Teaching from Central Washington University, a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University, and completed her Graduate Principal Certification through Eastern Washington University.

She is exceptionally strong in instructional practices, inclusive approaches, and building systems that elevate equity and belonging. Chloé is excited to bring her energy, experience, and passion for students to Stanwood High School.
