Today, we broke ground on what will soon be a significant addition to our city’s landscape – the Angel of Creativity by renowned artist Sebastian.
We understand that this sculpture has sparked mixed feelings in our community and we want to acknowledge those feelings. We hear you and know that we respect your voice.
The good news is that this sculpture is a chance to place ourselves on the cultural map, bring tourism, and spark conversations.
As we move forward on this long-awaited project, we hope you’ll join us in creating an inclusive and collaborative community. Thank you to the Arts Commission, Council Members, RAM Construction, and everyone who joined us at the groundbreaking today. We look forward to seeing how this journey will unfold and how as a community we can come together and have productive and positive conversations.
