The Whidbey News-Times reports:

The Oak Harbor Fire Department is seeking feedback on a proposed levy that the city is considering for the general election ballot this November.

If passed, the levy would fund the construction of a second fire station, increased staffing, the replacement of two old fire engines and new protective equipment.

The department’s survey is to gauge public opinion on the proposed levy. The survey can be found on the Oak Harbor Fire Department Facebook page. More information about the levy can found at www.oakharbor.org/firelevy.
