Oak Harbor will ask residents in early June what they think about the 37-foot-tall bright red “Angel de la Creatividad,” a donated sculpture proposed for Windjammer Park. City council members discussed the idea of a public survey at the meeting last Tuesday.

City Archeologist told council members that twice the number of public comments submitted to the city came from people who are not residents of Oak Harbor. Because of this, Councilmember Jeffrey Mack asked to include in the survey a question about residency.

The cost to the city would be $35,000 after the piece is installed. For more details, see the story by Emily Gilbert.
