Congratulations to our November Employees of the Month award winners!

Port Susan Middle School teacher Keli Niegemann earned the Certificated Employee of the Month. She was nominated by parents who wrote about how Mrs. Niegemann’s door is always open for students like their son. “She makes him feel so important and valued and heard. I’m amazed at what it has done for him to just feel like there’s an adult “in his corner” at school,” the nomination read. “I wish every kid was lucky enough to have a Mrs. Niegemann on their side!”

Eric Holl, a Student Support Advocate based at Twin City Elementary, was honored as the Classified Employee of the Month. The family who nominated Mr. Holl wrote how he went above and beyond to support their student’s transition to elementary school. “From our very first phone call, Eric’s genuine care and compassion shone through. He is more than a social worker; he is a steadfast advocate and a source of hope for the students and families he works with. Eric is one of those rare individuals who not only sees the children he works with but truly hears them,” the nomination read. “He shows up for them, day in and day out, creating a safe and supportive space where they feel valued and understood. … Eric exemplifies what it means to be a champion for children.”

The Certificated and Classified Employee of the Month recognition program honors employees who have shown outstanding commitment and dedication to their work on behalf of students, families, and the community.
