The primary election is 5 days away and things are as busy as you might imagine. There are still volunteer opportunities for you. We are doorbelling on Camano this weekend. Contact Allison Warner [Ed. Note: email link omitted].

Janet will be at the Whidbey Island Fair mid afternoon today (Friday) at the Democrats booth, but will not be at the parade.
We will be sign waving today on Camano for Janet, Dave, and Clyde at our usual place Terry’s Corner starting at 4:30. And also on Tuesday (election day) at 4:30. There is also sign waving on Whidbey Friday, Monday, and Tuesday 4-5 at the corner of Hwy20 and Pioneer.
Saturday, Janet will be on Camano at Kid’s Fest at Terry’s Corner.
Next weekend is the Stanwood-Camano Fair. Janet will be at the Democrats booth periodically as will Dave Paul, Clyde Shavers, Rick Larsen, and other candidates. It’s not too late to volunteer to help out at the fair. Please email [Ed. Note: email link omitted]. We are also looking for people to walk with us at the parade at 11:00 am on Saturday Aug 6. We will have Janet T-Shirts in hand. Our float is our boat, rigged for crabbing, with Janet in costume.
Post primary, we have an event in South Whidbey on Tuesday Aug 16 at 4:30. This will be the general election kickoff.
