Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair (D-Camano Island) sent the following email from her campaign account on Wed., Jun. 22, 2022.

“It’s summertime, the livin’ is easy…”  The sun is out, people are smiling, and it is a busy time.  I want to be sure you are aware of some fun campaign events happening near you.  Let’s hope history tells the story that we support candidates that believe in a strong and inclusive democracy, we work for communities where all thrive, and we will fight to protect our beautiful islands.

June 25; 2-4 pm   Meet & Greet: Ron & Eva Sher    Clinton

Join me as I talk about issues and priorities in Island County as well as my efforts to protect our unique island environment.  Tours by Judy Feldman of the Organic Farm School will follow the event.  For information: email [Ed. Note: email address omitted].

July 4 Oak Harbor Parade and Celebration: bring your dog (or goat or other four-legged critter), grab a “Re-elect Janet” scarf and walk down Bayshore with our campaign team to celebrate the 4th of July!  We gather at 10:30 and the parade starts at 11.  Stick around for the carnival and fireworks that evening.

July 9: 3-8 pm; Arrowhead Ranch – Camano Island Democrats “Art off the Wall”

July 11; 7-9 pm    Whidbey League of Women Voters Candidate Forum

The LWV of Whidbey Island hosts a virtual candidate forum.  This is a great opportunity to hear directly from candidates and inform yourself before you cast your ballot.  Primary ballots drop July 15 and it is a top two primary so it is important to get out the vote and be heard.  For more info: https://www.lwvwhidbey.org

SAVE THE DATE: Rock n’ Roll with Janet & Clyde at the South Camano Grange.  We will be hosting a live music and dancing event on July 22 at 6 pm.  Stay tuned for more exciting details.  Co-sponsored by the Re-elect Janet St.Clair, Island County Commissioner and Elect Clyde Shavers, State Representative campaigns.

If you can’t attend an event but want to get involved, give us a call at 360-445-1309, email at [Ed. Note: email omitted] or check out the website at www.janetstclair.com. There are many volunteer opportunities or donate online.

Thank you for your support.

Janet
