Jessie Stensland reports:

Washington State Attorney General Bob Ferguson endorsed Janet St. Clair this week for re-election to the Island County Board of Commissioners.

They Said It

“So many of Janet’s policy priorities align with mine – from women’s reproductive rights to environmental stewardship to the opioid crisis response and accessible, accountable government,” [Attorney General Bob Ferguson] said in a press release. “She works hard for Island County – and focuses on issues like increasing internet access and healthy communities that make real improvements in people’s lives. I’m excited to support her campaign for re-election.”

[Commissioner Janet] St. Clair said she was thrilled and honored by Ferguson’s endorsement.

“Bob works first and foremost for the people of Washington state,” she said in a press release. “It means a lot that he recognizes my work and that the state and local governments like Island County are partners in working for the people of Washington.”
