DAVE PAUL: End of the Month Updates

State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor)

Rep. Dave Paul’s campaign email account (dave@votedavepaul.com) sent the following email on Sun., Jun. 27, 2021:

Dear friends,

It’s an honor to serve as your representative, and June has been another busy month. I’ve been meeting with constituents to learn about community priorities, developing policy for next year’s legislative session, and working with local leaders across the district.

This week I was graciously invited to Stanwood to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for phase 1 of the Port Susan Trail. With funding allocated from the state, the Port Susan Trail will give residents more options for recreation that highlights the best parts of the Pacific Northwest. The trail is also atop a berm that will help protect Stanwood businesses and Hwy 532 from flooding—that’s critical for both Stanwood and Camano Island.

We need a representative who fights for these kinds of investments in our community, puts your priorities first, and whose voting record reflects the values that matter most to our community.

Republicans are already getting ready for next year’s election, and we need to make sure that we’re in the best position possible before the next session. I need to raise $1500 over the next 4 days to do that.

The June 30th fundraising deadline is critical to show that we have a true grassroots campaign that supports leaders who take the time to listen to their constituents and advocate on their behalf.

Thank you for all you do to support our community. I hope to see you all at an outdoor and in-person event soon.

Very respectfully,

Dave
