DAVE PAUL: One question
Beth Paul, daughter of State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor), sent out the following email on Sat., Nov. 5, 2022.
Friends,
Beth here! I have only one question for you: have you voted?
As of Friday, only 28% of people had turned in their ballots–we can do better than that!
Here’s what we know:
- Republicans are motivated this year. They want to undo the work we’ve accomplished for protecting women’s reproductive rights, address climate change, and ensure election integrity. They will turn out to vote.
- The weather is going to be terrible. The good news is, drop boxes are only a short distance from a parking spot. You can walk to the drop box, turn in your ballot, and hop back in the car before you can say “I’m excited to vote for Dave because of all the work he’s done for our community”.
- If only 28% of voters have returned their ballots, then you know at least 6 friends who need to vote. Contact them and make sure they vote! If everyone on this lists contacts 6 friends to vote for Dave, we’d turn out 4200 votes for Dave.
Ballots are due Tuesday!! If you haven’t turned in your ballot, now is the time! When you vote, I’ll stop harassing you!
Thank you for all your support this year, we couldn’t have done it without you! As we approach the finish line, make sure you and all your friends and family vote.
Beth
