Did you know Oak Harbor Public Schools receives $0 in state funding for school safety enhancements? Yet, during our Strategic Planning process, safety was one of the top priorities for our school community.
The levy helps fund safety measures, including:
Maintaining a school resource officer
Adding security features like locking doors
Implementing a visitor management system to keep our schools secure
