Faster EV Charging at Greenbank Farm

Electric Vehicles On the Rise

The electric vehicle charging stations at Greenbank Farm could get an upgrade.

New plans are in place to seek a grant to update the EV charging station with faster charging, known as “level three DC.” Funds are available to rural communities through the US State Dept’s Commerce Community Economic Revitalization Board.

This improvement is timely as the latest news from the Washington State Dept of Transportation reports that electric vehicle registrations in Washington increased 167%from 42,878 in 2018 to 114,600 in 2022.
