At least two former city of Langley officials and one soon-to-be former county official have applied for the open position on the board of commissioners for the Port of South Whidbey.

Ed Halloran, who served on the board for the past eight years, announced his resignation in October. A total of four people applied for his position representing District 2, which encompasses Langley, Saratoga and the Bayview area.

The candidates are Tim Callison, Stan Berryman, Greg Easton and Wanda Grone.
