The South Whidbey Record’s Kira Erickson writes about a letter written by Stina Wenzek and signed by 38 people. The letter to the South Whidbey School Board expresses concerns about the Black Lives Matter banner on the fence at South Whidbey High School and a high school social studies teacher, Mark Eager, accused of pushing his political beliefs on students. School Board Chair/President Brook Willeford responded.

Willeford was elected to the school board in 2019, and will be up for election in 2023.
