Wendy Stephens, Risk Services Consultant, and Holly Morgenthaler, Claims Consultant, Washington Schools Risk Management Pool (WSRMP), presented the report.

WSRMP is a self-funded interlocal cooperative of member school districts formed in 1986 to provide property and liability coverage for approximately 100 school districts, educational service districts, and other coverage-based interlocal cooperatives. It is governed by an Executive Board elected by members to provide risk management, loss prevention, and claims services.

Stephens and Morgenthaler gave an overview of the risk management services and trainings offered by WSRMP and the claims history for the Stanwood-Camano School District.

They praised the district for its timely reporting, utilization of investigations, proper documentation, excellent communication, and partnership with WSRMP.
