There will be no school on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States in 1865, two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation by President Abraham Lincoln.

Due to the two snow day closures in January, the last day of school for Oak Harbor Public Schools will be June 21, 2024. June 18 and 20 will be full days and June 21 will be a half day.
