Don’t be alarmed if you spot a heavy police presence at Stanwood High School next week.
Local law enforcement, in partnership with the Stanwood-Camano School District, will conduct multi-agency training drills from from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 22-25 at Stanwood High School.
The training exercises will focus on emergency response to incidents and is being staged by Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with local, state, and national emergency responders.
There will be significant law enforcement present during the exercise, including Stanwood Police Department personnel.
In order to avoid any confusion, we wanted to notify the public ahead of time. The exercises are closed to the public.
