ELECTIONS 2024: A day late and over a thousand short (JANET ST. CLAIR)
Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair (D-Camano Island), who is running for the State Senate seat from the 10th Legislative District, sent this email to supporters on Sun., June 30, 2024.
I have my tennis shoes sitting by the door to go doorbelling– but I can’t use them today if we don’t hit our goal.
The significance of this deadline is unlike any others in the past, because if we don’t meet our goal – we have to prepare to make cuts to our voter contact plan.
We have a very limited window to raise what we need to meet our budget. We had hoped to meet our goal yesterday but we are about $1,800 short.
Here’s a quick link for convenience – [Ed. Note: DONATE button omitted.]
Thank you for chipping in before midnight,
Janet
