Below is a list of the Island County elected officials whose positions will be on the ballot in the 2024 elections, along with the current occupant of each office. Note, however, that incumbents may choose not to run for re-election, so some of the people listed will not appear on ballots this year.

Precinct Committee Officers
A precinct committee officer (PCO) is the representative from a precinct to the county central committee of their political party. PCOs are elected in the August primary to a two-year term that begins on Dec. 1, 2024. One Republican and one Democrat PCO may be elected from each of the 90 precincts in Island County. If no one files for a party’s PCO in a precinct, that office remains vacant, but may be filled by appointment of the party’s county chair.
