State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor) sent out the following email from his campaign account on Tue., Jun. 28, 2022.

Friends,

We have some good news–and some bad news. The bad news is the latest Public Disclosure Commission reports show that my opponent’s campaign is now being funded by developers and corporations.

I hope that you agree that we need a representative whose voting record reflects the values that matter most to our community. Let’s show outside interests that we have a true grassroots campaign that supports leaders who take the time to listen to their constituents and advocate on their behalf.

The good news is that community leader Janet Burchfield has generously offered to match donations up to $1000 for the next 48 hours! You can now double your impact–and help put our community first.

Ballots will be in voters’ hands in less than three weeks. Every donation we recieve now will go towards voter outreach and spreading our message across the district.

A big thank you to Janet Burchfield for offering to match donations–we truly appreciate the support.

As always, it’s an honor to serve.

Sincerely,

Dave
