Beth Paul, daughter of State Representative Dave Paul (D-Oak Harbor), sent out the following email on Sun., Jul. 3, 2022.

Friends,

We have some bad news. A member of the Paul household has come down with COVID–meaning Dave and I will no longer be able to attend the Oak Harbor and Arlington Independence Day Parades for the safety of the community. But we still need your help.

These parades are crucial for voter engagement. With ballots arriving in just two weeks, we need to make sure that the community sees our teal shirts and smiling faces. Can we count on you to help us out and join the parades?

The Oak Harbor Parade begins at 11am, and Friends of Dave Paul is number 72 in line. Can you make it?

We are asking supporters in Snohomish County to join Clyde Shavers team in the Arlington Parade at 5pm. Can you help us out by walking in the parade?

We are so disappointed that we will not be able to meet community members tomorrow–but ensuring the health and safety of our community is our number one priority.

If you have any questions, please email [Ed. Note: email link omitted] or give me a call at 360-672-1227. We appreciate all your help!

Beth
