Camano Island Fire and Rescue District – Board Meeting

The Board of Fire Commissioners meet twice a month with the District Fire Chief to manage the affairs of the Fire District. These meetings are open to the public. They are held Mondays at 4:30 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Meetings are held at the Fire Administration office, 811 N. Sunrise Blvd., Camano Island, unless otherwise noted.

Topics of interest include: The chief reports on the level of service in the third quarter; an update on the Washington Fire Commissioners Association conference held Oct 20-23 in Tulalip; resolutions on surplus obsolete equipment and the state House of Representatives bill HB1310 “Concerning permissible uses of force by law enforcement and correctional officers”, which was passed in the last session.
