Island County Board of Commissioners – Work Session

Topics of interest include an interagency agreement for $750,000 to fund a pilot program to improve behavioral health outcomes for young people in rural communities; a proposal to expand the county’s access control system to two additional buildings on the county campus; discussions of several measures to increase pay for various county workers; an update from the COVID response manager; the board’s annual division of committee assignments among the commissioners; and the election of a new board chair for 2022.
