Langley City Council – Meeting

Topics of interest include: two resolutions to adopt new procedures within the Finance Department; an ordinance for uniform policies for citizen commissions; a resolution for the council’s 2022 work plan; further discussion of the change of the council’s regular meeting time; a recommendation from the Dismantling Systemic Racism to remove the “totem” poles at Seawall Park due to cultural appropriation (and to apologize for having put them up); a moratorium on permit applications for new multi-family developments that do not have at least 80% of the units dedicated to affordable housing; and a discussion of the order of agenda items under the heading of New Business led by Gail Fleming.
