Oak Harbor City Council – Workshop

Workshop sessions are generally briefing sessions with city staff.

Topics of interest include two action items: a vote on the issuance of new bonds to re-fund bonds issued in 2011 for Marina Dredging, and a vote to approve a data sharing agreement with the Washington State Auditor. Also, a discussion by Finance Director David Goldman on finding alternate funding sources for an already-approved donation to the Whidbey Homeless Coalition; a discussion of new state legal requirements affecting Law Enforcement by Police Chief Kevin Dresker; a report by Operations Manager-Parks Don Crawford on a budget request for the placement of the Prowler Memorial Obelisk in Windjammer Park; a report from City Administrator Blaine Oborn; and a discussion of a possible City Council Retreat.
