Oak Harbor City Council – Workshop

Topics of interest include:

• Development Services: a presentation on the work the Planning Commission will be doing on developing an “active transportation” plan – for walking and biking in Oak Harbor; and an amendment to the municipal code regarding parking of recreational vehicles (RVs) in the city limits.
• Finance: Part 1-B of the Oak Harbor Financial Primer, discussing various the city’s various revenue sources.
• Engineering: a discussion of the Transportation Benefit District’s 2022 asphalt overlay status; a presentation on the city’s water system and emergency water supply, including reconstruction of Well # 9; and discussion of an ordinance to update the municipal code to comply with state environmental requirements.
