Oak Harbor School District – Board Meeting

• the election of a new board president, to replace the departing John Diamond;
• discussion of a survey of parents on a preference for starting school late or releasing students early on Wednesdays in the 2022-23 school year;
• discussion of the process for replacing director Diamond;
• a presentation on the district’s performance serving the district’s 216 homeless students under the McKinney-Vento Act (including the transportation of five students to and from Sedro-Woolley each day);
• a presentation on the Oak Harbor Youth Coalitions work in the schools;
• action on whether to join a class-action lawsuit with over 600 other school districts against the e-cigarette company Juul.
