GREG GILDAY: You’re invited! 10th District Washington State Ferries discussion on Tuesday, Nov. 2 at 6:00 p.m.
State Representative Greg Gilday (R-Camano Island) sent the following update from his official email account on Wed., Oct. 27, 2021.
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Frustrated by Washington’s ferry problems? Ferry trips are a lifeline for 10th District communities and residents. As many of us are all too aware, Washington State Ferries continues to be plagued by crew shortages, canceled sailings, and service disruptions.
Residents and visitors alike have shared their mounting concerns about the ferry system with my office. That’s why, along with Senator Ron Muzzall, R-Whidbey Island, and Representative Dave Paul, D-Oak Harbor, I’ll be co-hosting a 10th District virtual town hall discussion about the ferry system.
Joining us will be John Venzina, government relations director for Washington State Ferries, who will be on hand to help answer questions and discuss what’s being done to improve service.
