ICYMI 🌬 Weather report is for, as Winnie the Pooh would say, “a very blustery day” – and weekend on Whidbey Island and around the region. We got this message from Puget Sound Energy today:
“The greatest threat to the PSE service territory is from 3 pm-11 pm today (Fri) due to strong winds across northern counties, then with some risk of issues Sunday between 11 am-4 pm as a cool front tracks through western Washington with gusty winds.”
As we all know, wind + weather varies by location and micro-climate, so check the weather service for latest forecasts.
The Saratoga Orchestra of Whidbey Island Oktoberfest event at Greenbank Farm tomorrow, Sat 10/19, is still on, we have a back-up plan if power goes out — so come on by 🎼
