I’m proud to stand in solidarity with my LGBTQ+ students and neighbors this month—and all year long. As we see attacks on the LGBTQ+ community at that national level, it’s been terrific to see so many community members attend Pride Events throughout the 10th District. Over the last seven years, Washington state has passed laws that support LGBTQ+ Washingtonians, such as banning conversion therapy and making gender affirming healthcare more affordable for those seeking services. I look forward to continuing our work next session to further protect all Washingtonians from harmful and misguided federal policies.
