In response to recent inquiries about Chipotle coming to Oak Harbor, here are the details:
Chipotle has only had one pre-application meeting with City staff, where engineers and the planning department assess the feasibility of the project in Oak Harbor. We have no further details or plans from Chipotle beyond that meeting.
Ray Lindenburg, our Senior Planner, shared, “We had their staff-applicant meeting on Tuesday (6/10) where we gave them staff comments. We don’t know anything about their plans beyond that.” Similarly, Brian Colbert, our City’s Building Official, confirmed, “Building has no further information since the staff applicant meeting.”
For up to date information, please continue to follow the City of Oak Harbor’s official Facebook page. We work directly with the team handling these projects and will continue to provide updates as soon as we know whether the permit process has begun or once it is approved.
