No on 2117
Join Governor Inslee and the No on 2117 campaign on Saturday, October 5, at the Everett Labor Temple! We’ll be rallying and knocking on doors as we fight to defeat the deceptive and dangerous Initiative 2117. While we’re trying to build a better future for Snohomish County communities, the people behind I-2117 only want to drag us backwards.
You can join the fight for better, brighter days ahead and join the No on 2117 campaign in Everett on Saturday to talk to local community members about why they should vote NO on I-2117. Sign up at this link: https://www.mobilize.us/no2117/event/711707/
WHEN: Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Everett Labor Temple, 2810 Lombard Ave, Suite 208, Everett, WA 98201
WHAT: Rally with Governor Inslee, knock on doors, and talk to voters!
RSVP: https://www.mobilize.us/no2117/event/711707/
I-2117 would end protections for our air, water, forests, and farmland while devastating transportation and road programs…and cost Everett communities more.
It’s a bad deal for Snohomish County, plain and simple. That’s why more than 500 organizations and Tribal Nations are uniting together to defeat I-2117. I hope you’ll join No on 2117 this weekend and be part of the team that puts it in the past–where it belongs. RSVP to join us and talk to voters about this dangerous initiative on October 5: Everett – Rally and Canvass With Governor Inslee · No on 2117
Discussion on Middle East
Salt of the Earth: Palestinian and Israeli Peace Activists
Thursday Oct 10
7-9 Langley United Methodist Fellowship Hall
301 Anthes
Osama Iliwat and Rotem Levin will discuss the reality on the ground and a path toward collective safety and liberation. The devastating escalation of violence in Israel and Palestine has left many feeling powerless, angry, and hopeless. But Rotem and Osama believe in a different reality and in the possibility of a shared future of security, equality, and justice for all people. Join us as they share their transformative journeys of trying to change the reality in Palestine and Israel, about humanity in times of dehumanization and war, and about their hope and the courage to share this hope publicly.
“We are for humanity. No-one will be free if the others live under occupation. No one will be safe unless everyone is safe.”
