Prosecuting Attorney
Interagency Reimbursement Agreement Amendment No. 1, in which the Washington State Adminstrative Office of the Courts agrees to reimburse Island County up to $242,100 for extraordinary expenses incurred due to resentencing, vacating prior convictions for simple drug possession, and certifying refund of legal financial obligations and collections costs for defendants affected by State vs. Blake.
Public Health
Consolidated Contract Amendment No. 6, between the state Department of Health and the Island County Department of Public Health, to increase payment to the county by $1,600,000 for additional work under the Foundational Public Health Services program.
Public Works
Rural Arterial Program Final Prospectus Application with the state’s County Road Administration Board for the 2023-2025 Biennium, to fund the Freeland Main St. Overlay project. The project will resurface Main Street from State Road 525 to Harbor Ave., to be financed by a grant of $1,453,500 from the Rural Arterial Trust Account.
