Dear Island County Democrat,
You are receiving this email because you are a member and on the email list for the Island County Democratic Central Committee (ICDCC)…the official Democratic political organization representing Island County.
Do you want to remain a member? Yes? or No?
“Members” are renewed each year in November for the upcoming year. Benefits to membership include:
- You Vote via the ICDCC to endorse candidates for elected offices in the WA State Legislature, in the County, as well as local offices for school boards, judges and Commissioners for the Rural Hospital, Ports, and Fire districts
- You Vote via ICDCC on WA State Democratic Party issues, resolutions, and legislative bills
- You Vote for our representatives to the WA State Democratic Party
- Island County Democrats have 2 representatives to WA State Democratic Party Committees
- State Party Committees create our Democratic values platform for WA and give input to the National Democratic Party
- You Vote for ICDCC officers (chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer) who represent and lead our County Democratic Party activities
- You Vote for ICDCC coordinators and trainers of Democratic Precinct Committee Officers
- You provide input and participate in planning activities (e.g., fairs, parades, candidate events, etc.) as part of quarterly meetings, usually held online
- You receive monthly newsletters and occasional messages
You can make a difference in Island County! An engaged, local Democratic Party motivates candidates to run and win local offices. YOUR ENGAGEMENT MATTERS!
If you want to REMAIN a member, please do one of the following:

- If YES, please DONATE $25 or more [Ed. Note: Donation information omitted.] (Donations are not tax deductible since we are not a charity.)
- If you cannot donate, let us know you still want to be a member and we will continue to communicate with you. (and “waive” your membership donation)
