Janet St. Clair (D-Camano Island) sent this email to supporters on Tue., Nov. 1, 2022.

We have one week to go until Election Day.  Did you get your ballot? Have you voted?  Make a plan to vote now.  If you need assistance, click here and to check if your ballot was received go to votewa.gov.

I need to begin by thanking all for their support and encouragement.  As I’ve continued to work, I am buoyed by the words of the people I choose to serve.  Sunday as I was phone banking, one gentleman said, “You were so quick to respond and help us Commissioner, of course we have our ballot filled out and we’re voting for you.  How can I help?”  I answered, “Tell ten of your friends.  This is a people-driven campaign.”  “Done,” he said, “We had a dinner party last night and that’s what we talked about.”

So what can you do in these last days?  Talk to your friends and neighbors and encourage them to vote.  If you have a couple of hours to spare, join one of our combined phone banks.

Nov 1       Tuesday         6:00 – 7:30
Nov 3       Thursday        6:00 – 7:30

In addition to these dates and times, Virtual Phone Banks will be available whenever you are between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM up to and including election day.  These are the Virtual Phone Bank links.  Simply click on a link and begin making calls from your phone. Just follow the built-in script.

Island: [Ed. Note: link omitted]

If you want to join us for sign waving, in the inimitable words of Credence Clearwater…make it many more than four.

“Early in the evenin’, just about supper time

Over by the courthouse, they’re startin’ to unwind

Four kids on the corner, trying to bring you up”

Camano Island, Freedom Park by Terry’s Corner; Friday Nov 4    4:00 – 6:00 and Monday Nov 7  4:00 – 6:00

Oak Harbor,  SR 20 at Pioneer Way on Monday – Thursdays from 4-5:30 PM up until election day.

Central Whidbey,  SR 20 at Main St. in Coupeville;Friday Nov 4  3:30 – 5:00

As this is my last email until after Election Day, I also want to let you know of sign locations to drop off your

yard signs.  You can drop off signs at my house on Camano, at the back (near garage) of my rental house in Coupeville and at a friend’s house in Oak Harbor.  Please email us for address/directions.  We will also be picking up signs next week.  How great is that to think about?

Have a great week.  Please, get out the vote!

Janet
