Janet St Clair’s Journey in Public Service: Authentic Leadership, Real Results.

My journey in public service started over 30 years ago as a teacher and as a social worker. From volunteer foster parent to leading social service organizations, each role has strengthened my commitment to compassionate, effective policies that strengthens families..

Championing Children: As a foster parent and manager of child welfare programs, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of forever homes on at-risk children’s lives.

Advocate for Families: I’ve trained professionals and parents on fostering, ensuring every child has a chance at a loving home and a bright future.

Building Communities Where All Thrive: As a Mental Health Specialist, built effective mental health and substance abuse programs. Launched one of the first integrative care programs in Washington State.

Let’s continue this journey together. With your support, I’ll bring decades of experience and a heart for service to Olympia.
